Ordering

General Information regarding LARGE orders


All orders $100 or more require a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due when you place your order. Must be paid through invoice. I no longer accept cash app. Sorry for the inconvenience. This will secure your order on my calendar and allow us to make your event unforgettable. Remaining payment is due 72 HOURS before pickup or YOUR ORDER WILL BE CANCELLED & DEPOSIT FORFEITED NO EXCEPTIONS. Sorry for the inconvenience. NO DEPOSIT or PAYMENT = NO ORDER!!!




Cake Orders and Inquiries


All custom cakes require a minimum of a 7 business day notice and a 50% deposit non-refundable deposit. On our menu we have our “Celebration Cakes” these cakes need a 3 day notice and cannot be modified. You are able to add a custom topper. Mini 4” cakes are not available for individual sale. The minimum order is 5 small cakes. This a great option for small gifts, marketing efforts, and more. Personal 6” cakes are 2 layers and “Naked” meaning they come frosted with minimal to know frosting on the outside. You are able to request a fully frosted cake.




Cupcakes & Bakes Orders and Inquries


All cupcake and bakes orders require 24 hour notice. If the order exceeds $100 please allow 72 hours to 1 week, this is subject to depending upon the order complexity. Please be sure to add on all dietary restriction customization (e.g. vegan +$10 or gluten free +$5). If you have any allergies please be sure to specify that as well. In the additional comments section please be sure to specify any decoration/theme requirements (e.g. color scheme, fresh flowers, desired theme, custom toppers, etc.) as well as anything else you would like us to know.





Pickup & Delivery

Pickup & Delivery Information


Pickup happens Monday – Friday 8am until 12pm, Saturday 12pm until 2pm, and Sunday 8am until 11am NO EXCEPTIONS. Delivery is scheduled within a 3 hour time frame the time you provide is a estimate arrival time so if you need it by a certain time please specify and CONFIRM that with us.





Cake Care

Transport


Always hold or carry the cake box from the bottom, holding the sides of the box may damage the cake. Cakes should be stored on the floor of the car away from any objects. We recommend putting the cake on the front passenger side floor with the floor mat turned upside down. The rubber side of the mat is nonslip. DO NOT store on a seat or on someone’s lap, as this can cause the cake to lean. Ensure the car is cold or air conditioned. Do not leave cake in the car. Go straight home with it.




Storage


We strongly recommend that all cakes are stored in the fridge. If not, you should use a cold room out of direct sunlight. Cakes should be brought to room temperature 1 hour before serving. In hot weather keep the cake in the fridge for as long as possible & DO NOT leave out in the sun - buttercream cakes are delicate and will destroy your cake. After sliced store in tubber ware/ airtight container or back in the fridge. Cover any exposed cake with cling wrap to avoid it from drying out. Once the cake has left our kitchen, Brie & Buttercream Bakery and Café is NOT responsible for any damages caused by incorrect transport or storage.
